People always say leaving New York City is never easy, but living there isn’t easy either. I remember being in high school and visiting, the place seemed glamorous and magical. I became an adult in the city. I was educated and exposed to culture that seemingly shaped me into who I am today. Six years later, I found myself tired and wanting to escape. Now here I am across the Atlantic, living in Amsterdam. Settling into a new culture and adapting a different lifestyle isn’t always smoothsailing; but people also always say good things don’t come easy. This is a journal of inspirations and aspirations of living life abroad.
